In-home lighting design consultations are available for a minimal fee. The in-home consultation fee for homes within 30 miles of our Brentwood location is $150. Add an additional $100 for homes 60-100 miles away.

Consultation fees can be used toward the purchase of materials within 60 days of the consultation.

Metro Lighting offers lamp and fixture repair at our Brentwood, Chesterfield, O’Fallon and Ballwin locations. Below are estimated repair prices for labor, not including any required parts. For antiques or family heirlooms, please make an appointment to meet with a repair specialist.

The following prices are labor estimates only and may be more depending on the amount of labor with each item.

Table lamps & desk lamps – internal socket replacement only: $45.00
Table lamps & desk lamps – new socket and new wire: $65.00
Floor lamps: $85.00
Exterior fixtures, pole or wall mount, with 3 sockets or less: $85.00
Exterior fixtures, pole or wall mount, with 4 sockets or more: $100.00
Chandeliers, to replace lead wire or ground wire: $125.00
Chandeliers, rewiring through arms to sockets: price to be quoted by Metro’s lamp repair specialist.
Chandelier, new socket only: $35.00 each socket
Sconces & bath bars: $35.00 each socket

Note: Due to rusted parts, burnt wires, and other weather related wear, many exterior fixtures involve reconstruction which may cost more.
